Biography
The headquarters of LVC athletics, the Arnold Sports Center is home to the Arnold Arena fieldhouse and LVC’s pool, as well as offices for LVC’s athletic administrators and coaches. The fieldhouse, home to the indoor track & field teams, houses a 200-meter track, and the infield can be converted to four full-length basketball, volleyball, tennis, or badminton courts. The fieldhouse is used extensively for off-season and pre-season training by almost all of LVC's outdoor teams, as well. The arena also holds major events on campus, including concerts and the annual Relay for Life.
The pool is a 25-meter facility (one of just two meter pools in the MAC) that serves as the home to the men’s and women’s swimming teams. The pool is also a frequent host to community groups, including the Otters youth swim program and the Special Olympics. The pool underwent a complete renovation in the summer of 2010, including re-tiling and ventilation and lighting upgrades.
Adjacent to the Arnold Sports Center is the Heilman Center, home to Lebanon Valley College’s physical therapy program. The Heilman Center provides locker-room space, athletic training and sports medicine facilities, a therapy pool, and a state-of-the-art fitness center and weight room.
