Lebanon Valley College has invested millions of dollars over the past decade to build one of the finest athletic complexes in the nation. The effort has yielded seven new or significantly renovated facilities since 1999, including brand-new venues for baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, field hockey, softball, and volleyball.
In 2005, LVC's athletics complex was honored by the Sports Turf Managers Association with its Complex of the Year award, recognizing LVC's outstanding playing surfaces and maintenance of its fields. Lebanon Valley is the only NCAA Division III institution to earn the prestigious award.
In addition, LVC has had multiple fields earn honors on their own, including two STMA Field of the Year honors for McGill Field (baseball) and Herbert Field (soccer), and the LVC Softball Park has twice been honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association as its regional field of the year. In 2009, Arnold Field was chosen as a Pioneer Athletics Field of Excellence for its playing surface.
