Fisher Leads Men’s Golf at Dickinson Fall Invitational

CARLISLE, Pa. – Max Fisher carded two rounds in the 70s to lead the Lebanon Valley College men's golf team to a strong score at the two-day Dickinson Fall Invitational on Sunday and Monday at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course.
 
The Dutchmen had a strong start on Sunday recording a team score of 305 as they had four golfers record scores in the 70s for the second time this season. The squad had a team score of 319 on Monday in the final round to finish tied for 22nd out of 26 teams in a loaded field at 624. Gettysburg College topped the field with a score of 566, recording rounds of 285 and 281.
 
Inside the Results
  • Fisher finished with a score of 153, recording rounds of 75 and 78 on the par-72 course. He fired a 39 on the front nine and an even par 36 on the back nine during Sunday's round with 13 pars and a birdie on the par-four 14th hole. The sophomore had 12 pars and one birdie on the par-four 16th hole during Monday's round with a 37 on the front nine and a 41 on the back.
  • Brody Rafferty carded rounds of 76 and 80 to finish at 156 strokes over the two days. The sophomore carded 38s on the front and back nine during the first round with 10 pars and two birdies on the par-four fifth hole and the par-four 12th hole. He closed the tournament with a 36 on the front nine and a 44 on the back nine, recording eight pars and three birdies on the par-five first hole, the par-four third hole, and the par-four fifth hole.
  • Brayden Herr also finished at 156 strokes with scores of 76 and 80. He recorded a 38 on the front nine and a 38 on the back nine with 14 pars on Sunday. Herr had a 39 on the front nine and a 41 on the back nine during Monday's final round with eight pars and a birdie on the par-five ninth hole.
  • Brady Keath was a few strokes off with a 78 and an 81 to finish at 159. The sophomore had a 39 on the front and back nine during Sunday's round with nine pars and birdies on the par-four third hole and par-four 16th hole. He carded a 37 on the front nine and a 44 on the back with eight pars and four birdies during the final round. Keath birdied the par-four third hole, the par-four fifth hole, the par-five ninth hole, and the par-four 10th hole.
  • Reagan Flynn carded a 166 with rounds of 82 and 84. He had a 40 on the front nine and a 42 on the back nine with nine pars and a birdie on the par-four 14th hole during the first round. He had eight pars on Monday with a 42 on the front nine and a 42 on the back nine.

The Dutchmen will be back on the links tomorrow, Tuesday, September 8 for the Elizabethtown Fall Invitational at the Hershey Country Club in Hershey. The shotgun start is scheduled for 1 p.m.
