4/28/2026 11:01:00 AM

NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College women's lacrosse, softball, and men's outdoor track and field teams were recognized on Tuesday, April 28, as the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office announced in a release that a player from each program received a weekly award for their contributions during the past week of competition.

Sophomore defender Chloe Moser was named the MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week after helping Dutchmen Women's Lacrosse clinch a postseason spot. Senior catcher Maddy Gronback was also presented with an award for LVC's softball team, as she was chosen as the MAC Freedom Player of the Week for her efforts in the program's doubleheader sweeps of the University of Scranton and DeSales University. Additionally, graduate student Michael De Falcis was recognized as the MAC Field Athlete of the Week, following his performance for Lebanon Valley's men's outdoor track and field team at the Paul Kaiser Classic.

Moser recorded 12 draw controls, seven caused turnovers, and five ground balls in two games against conference rivals. She tallied six draw controls and a career-high five caused turnovers in the 17-6 victory over Arcadia University on Wednesday, April 22, helping Lebanon Valley's women's lacrosse team clinch a postseason berth. The defender also logged six draw controls and two caused turnovers in the season finale against Misericordia University on Saturday, April 25. This marks Moser's third conference weekly honor of the season, as the sophomore was also recognized on March 17 and March 24. The defender has now earned five MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week awards in her career. Additionally, this is the fourth award LVC has received from the conference this year.

Gronback slashed .600/.563/.867 with nine hits to lead Dutchmen Softball to a pair of road sweeps to close out the regular season. She recorded four multi-hit games during the week, including five hits in a doubleheader sweep of DeSales on Sunday, April 26. The catcher also registered two hits with three RBIs and a run scored in the 9-5 win at Scranton on Tuesday, April 21. This marks Gronback's first career MAC Freedom Player of the Week award. The Flying Dutchmen have now earned five conference weekly awards this season.

De Falcis won the javelin for LVC's men's outdoor track and field team at the Paul Kaiser Classic with a season-best mark of 63.13 meters on Saturday. His throw ranks 10th in the nation and second in the MAC this spring. This marks the second MAC Field Athlete of the Week award De Falcis has earned during his career with the men's outdoor track and field team, as the graduate student was also honored on Tuesday, March 31. Additionally, this is the fourth weekly award Lebanon Valley has collected this spring.
