NEWTOWN, Pa. – Four Lebanon Valley College student-athletes from three teams were recognized by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) for their efforts during the past week of competition, as the conference office announced its weekly awards in a release on Tuesday, Feb. 24.
Senior goaltender
Chris Branch was named the MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week, following his production in the final game of the season for Dutchmen Men's Ice Hockey. LVC's women's ice hockey team swept the conference's weekly honors after winning its last two regular-season contests, as first-year forward
Addi Alaoui was selected as the MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week and junior goaltender
Mia Frisoni was chosen as the MAC Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week. Additionally, sophomore
Tola Oyinkolade earned MAC Field Athlete of the Week accolades for her performance for Lebanon Valley's women's indoor track and field team at the Keogh Invitational.
Branch made 41 saves in the season finale against Alvernia University, keeping Lebanon Valley's men's ice hockey team within striking distance despite being outshot 43-16 in a narrow 2-1 overtime defeat on Friday, Feb. 20. The senior closed his career with a standout performance, including 18 saves in the opening period. Branch was listed as the MAC Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week three times this season, and the goaltender received this award six times in his career with the Dutchmen. Branch earned each of LVC's three conference weekly honors during the 2025-26 campaign.
Alaoui scored five goals in two wins for LVC's women's ice hockey team to close the regular season, including a four-goal performance to fuel a comeback in the 5-4 overtime victory against Stevenson University on Saturday, Feb. 21. She recorded two game-winning goals this weekend, netting the first goal in the 3-0 win over Alvernia on Friday, and the overtime clincher to complete the rally against Stevenson. This marks the second MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week award of Alaoui's debut campaign, as the forward was also honored on Tuesday, Jan. 13.
Frisoni tallied two victories for Dutchmen Women's Ice Hockey, including her fifth shutout of the season with 28 saves in a 3-0 victory over Alvernia on Friday. She added 30 saves in a 5-4 overtime win over Stevenson to help LVC close the regular season on a high note on Saturday. This is the fifth time Frisoni has been selected as the MAC Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week this year, and it marks the second consecutive week that the junior earned the honor. The goaltender has received this award 11 times in her career. Additionally, this is the 10th MAC weekly honor of the season for the Dutchmen.
Oyinkolade posted a career-best mark of 10.83 meters (35'6.5") in the triple jump to finish third for LVC's women's indoor track and field team at the Keogh Invitational. The mark ranks fourth in the MAC and sits among the top 10 in program history. This is Oyinkolade's second career conference weekly award, as the sophomore was also recognized on Jan. 13. Additionally, this marks Lebanon Valley's fifth MAC weekly honors of the winter.
