9/23/2025 11:01:00 AM

NEWTOWN, Pa. – Six Lebanon Valley College student-athletes from five Dutchmen teams garnered recognition from the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) for their contributions over the past week, as the conference office announced its weekly awards through a release on Tuesday.

The Lebanon Valley College football team received two of the three MAC weekly awards after its thrilling comeback victory over Eastern University, as junior quarterback Logan Klitsch was named the Offensive Player of the Week, and senior kicker Brian Dym was chosen as the Special Teams Player of the Week. First-year midfielder Jayme Beninda was also selected as the MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week for tallying four points during Dutchmen Women's Soccer's last two games.

Graduate student Adam Warren was recognized for his efforts in LVC's men's tennis team's past two events with the MAC Freedom Men's Tennis Player of the Week award. Junior Megan Martin was honored as well, being listed as the MAC Freedom Women's Tennis Player of the Week following her performances in Lebanon Valley's women's tennis team's last two competitions. Additionally, junior middle hitter Teaguen Reynolds was named the MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week for her contributions to a pair of victories for Dutchmen Volleyball over the past week.

Klitsch fueled a second-half comeback for Lebanon Valley's football team in a 24-21 win over Eastern, totaling 274 yards and two touchdowns on Saturday, Sept. 20. He rushed for a career-high 104 yards with a score and threw for 170 yards and another touchdown, highlighted by a 63-yard run to spark the rally. This marks Klitsch's first career conference weekly award. The junior is the first member of the Dutchmen to be named the MAC Offensive Player of the Week since quarterback Braden Bohannon on Sept. 23, 2024.

Dym drilled a 22-yard field goal as time expired to lift LVC's football team past Eastern on Saturday. He also went 3-for-3 on extra points and averaged 51.8 yards on four kickoffs. This is Dym's first career weekly award from the conference. Lebanon Valley has received the MAC Special Teams Player of the Week award in back-to-back weeks, as senior wide receiver Jonathan Hannevig garnered the recognition last Tuesday. The Dutchmen have now earned three MAC weekly honors this fall. Additionally, the program's offensive line was honored on the D3football.com Team of the Week on Sept. 16.

Beninda recorded four points on one goal and two assists in a 1-1-0 week for Lebanon Valley's women's soccer team. The midfielder started the week with the game-winning goal for the Dutchmen, just 37 seconds into a 3-0 victory at Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Beninda then assisted both of LVC's goals in a tough 4-2 defeat at Stevenson University on Saturday. This marks Beninda's first career conference weekly award. The first-year is also the second member of the program to be chosen as the MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Year this year, as senior forward and midfielder Jordan Lasky earned the honor on Sept. 9. The Flying Dutchmen have now received four weekly honors from the MAC Freedom this fall.

Warren won both his singles and doubles matches for LVC's men's tennis team in a 4-3 loss to Susquehanna University on Sunday, Sept. 21, and he added three wins at the Dutchmen Invitational on Saturday. His week included a three-set singles victory (7-6, 3-6, 6-2) and two doubles wins. This is Warren's first conference weekly award of the season, and it is the sixth of his career. Lebanon Valley has now been presented with two weekly honors from the MAC Freedom this fall, as junior Colin Brusse was recognized last Tuesday.

Martin swept both matches in a 7-0 win for Lebanon Valley's women's tennis team at Susquehanna on Sunday. She teamed with Katie Berra for a 6-1 doubles win, and then earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles — her sixth career double bagel. This marks Martin's first career MAC Freedom Women's Tennis Player of the Week award. The Dutchmen have received two weekly honors from the conference so far this season, as sophomore Erika Badner earned the award on Sept. 9.

Reynolds totaled 18 kills, six aces, and six blocks in a 2-0 week for Flying Dutchmen Volleyball. She had a career-high 14 kills with five aces and three blocks while hitting .500 in a 3-1 win over Rutgers-Camden on Saturday. This is Reynolds' first career conference weekly award, and it is the first Lebanon Valley has received this fall. The junior is also the first member of the program to be selected as the MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week since current senior outside hitter Mattea Penner, who was honored on Nov. 4, 2024.
