ST. DAVIDS, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's tennis team defeated host Eastern University 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon to clinch the top seed and regular season title in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth.
LVC (13-3, 6-0 MAC Commonwealth) breezed through doubles play dropping just two games. The Dutchmen then swept all six singles matches with just one match going three sets. The win clinches the program's second consecutive regular season title and ensures home court advantage in next week's conference tournament.
Inside the Box Score
- Meredith Haas and Eliana Shenk were the first court to finish at number two doubles with an 8-0 victory. They are now 3-0 when playing together this season.
- Nicole Honrade and Sarah Kramer continued their dominant play at number one doubles with an 8-1 victory.
- Kendall Halsey and Gigi Guay were 8-1 winners at number three doubles.
- Haas was the first singles match to finish with her eighth consecutive win. She won her number three singles match 6-0, 6-2.
- Honrade was the next match done to give LVC their clinching point with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at number one singles.
- Shenk won her 10th dual match of the year with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at number four singles.
- Halsey improved to 2-0 this year with a 6-0, 6-4 victory at number five singles.
- Guay won her collegiate singles debut 6-2, 6-2 at number six singles.
- Kramer needed three sets at number two singles. She improved to 6-0 in conference play with a 6-4, 4-6, 10-3 win.

Lebanon Valley will close out the regular season on Saturday with Senior Day at the Shankroff Tennis Center. The Dutchmen will face Stevenson University at 1 p.m. in Annville.
