COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's tennis team received victories from
Nicole Honrade and
Eliana Shenk in a 6-3 defeat to a strong Ursinus College squad in Collegeville on Saturday afternoon.
LVC (5-3) won one of the three doubles matches before the Bears (7-2) took four of the six singles matches. The Dutchmen earned wins at number one doubles, number one singles, and number five singles.
Inside the Box Score
- Honrade and Sarah Kramer won their doubles match 8-3 and were the first match to finish. The duo are now 4-1 in duals when playing together this year.
- Meredith Haas and Livia Jackson played a close match at number two doubles and were defeated 8-6.
- Madison Poladian and Shenk went to a tiebreaker at number three doubles. The duo were defeated 8-7 (7-4).
- Honrade won her number one singles match 6-3, 6-4 to improve to 7-1 in duals this year.
- Shenk was a 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 winner at number five singles. She improved to 3-0 this year when playing in the number five flight during duals.
- Poladian went three sets at number six singles. She was defeated 3-6, 6-3, 10-5.

The Dutchmen will return to the courts on March 26 with a road trip north up I-81 to face King's college at Kirby Park starting at 1 p.m.
