Dutchmen Finish Regular Season at Last Chance Run Fast Invitational

LEBANON, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's cross country team finished third out of 15 teams at the Last Chance Run Fast Invitational on Friday afternoon at Union Canal Tunnel Park in Lebanon.
 
The race, which was delayed due to lightning, was won by Division I Navy who had the top five finishers. DeSales University was second while the Dutchmen were third with an average time of 28:11 and a five-runner split of 39 seconds.
 
The Dutchmen were led by Aden Davis who ran a time of 27:50.67. Lukas Walko was the next LVC runner to cross the line in 27:59.76. Joe Pleban ran a time of 28:08.88 and he was followed by a group of Dutchmen. Mac Eschinger led the pack with a time of 28:25.40 as he edged an Elizabethtown runner at the line. Liam Allen ran 28:28.80, Cole Lehman finished in 28:34.16, and Dylan Lenhart ran 28:44.09 to round out the top seven. Caleb Scarborough crossed the line in 28:52.97, Trevor Gipe ran 31:49.15, Penn Smith finished in 33:14.79, and Jonathan Cabello had a time of 40:44.94.
 
LVC will be back in action next Saturday for the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships at Letterkenny Fields in Dallas. Race time is scheduled for 11 a.m.
