READING, Pa. –
Julia Craig was the only batter with two hits in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth Championship game won by top-seeded Messiah University over third-seeded Lebanon Valley College on Sunday afternoon in Reading.
Messiah (28-13) scored both of their runs in the third inning. The Dutchmen (26-13) put together a rally in the sixth scoring one run. Morgan Confort led off the seventh with a single and advanced to second but was stranded there.

- Craig singled up the middle in the first and then singles to left center in the sixth.
- Lindsey McCurdy knocked in Lexi Smith with a single in the sixth inning.
- Sam Burns had a hit and stole a base for the Dutchmen.
- Danni Holmes also had a hit in the game.
- Erin Sinatra stuck out three in 2.2 innings of work. She allowed two runs, one earned, on five hits and two walks.
- Jordan Walter pitched 3.1 innings in relief and struck out four and allowed just one base runner on a sixth inning single.

The Dutchmen will look to receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament when the field is announced on Monday afternoon.
