YORK, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College women's lacrosse team had a great season come to an end on Wednesday night in a hard-fought 18-4 defeat to 12th-ranked York College of Pennsylvania in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth Semifinal on Kinsley Field.
Top-seeded York (13-5) scored the first eight goals of the game.
Brittany Hathaway and
Bailey Dills scored in the second quarter to cut the lead to 9-2 at halftime. The fifth-seeded Dutchmen (9-10) battled tough all game against the Spartans on their home field. York scored nine times in the second half while LVC scored twice.

- Venezia had two goals in the third quarter to finish with 52 on the season.
- Hathaway also finished with 52 goals this year with her second quarter goal. She also had two draw control to finish with 100 on the year.
- Gabby Boyer led the team with two caused turnovers.
- Erin Zieber led the team with three draw controls.
- Julia Abenschoen made 11 saves in goal. She finished the season with a program record 212 saves.
- The Dutchmen were 14-15 on clear attempts.
- LVC finished the season with 284 draw controls.
