GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College women's tennis team had a statement win on Wednesday afternoon as they traveled down to Gettysburg and defeated the Bullets 5-4.
LVC (12-4) won two of the three doubles matches and then split the six singles matches with the Bullets (9-9). The Dutchmen ran their win streak to nine matches while defeating Gettysburg for the first time in four tries.
Inside the Box Score
- Jacquelyn McBride and Nicole Honrade won their number one doubles match 8-5. Eliana Shenk and Sarah Kramer were also winners in doubles with an 8-5 victory in the number three flight.
- LVC won the number four, number five, and number six singles flights and played closely contested matches in the other three.
- Kramer earned a 6-3, 6-3 victory while Madison Poladian won 6-3, 6-2. Shenk continued her impressive winning streak with a 6-0, 7-5 win at number six singles.
- McBride dropped a three-setter at number one singles.
- The Dutchmen improved to 6-2 away from Shankroff Tennis Center this year and will finish the regular season with a 6-4 record in non-conference matches.
