HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Lebanon Valley's women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought contest 6-3 to Roanoke College in the 2020 opener on Monday evening.
In doubles, LVC took one of the three matches with the #1 doubles pair of
Nicole Honrade and
Melanie Haas picking up an 8-2 win. The Dutchmen went 2-4 in singles play with Haas and
Elise Hanks-Witaszek earning victories. Haas won a close three-setter by a score of 7-5, 3-6, 10-7 at the #2 singles spot. At #6 singles, Hanks-Witaszek picked up a straight-set victory 6-3, 7-5.
