Lebanon Valley 7, Hood 2
 
FREDERICK, Md. – Lebanon Valley women's tennis squad picked up its first MAC Commonwealth win of the season after easing past Hood College 7-2 on Saturday afternoon. The Flying Dutchmen improved to 5-8, 1-2 MAC Commonwealth and the Blazers dropped to 4-7, 0-4 MAC Commonwealth.
 
 
Melanie Haas and Emily Wilczek were impressive at No. 1 doubles, downing Megan Carter and Skylar Wright 8-4, while Rachel Duong and Elizabeth Drda won by the same score at No. 2 doubles. Then, in No. 3 doubles play, Leah Wingert and Zoe Birch bageled Jordan Bailey and Taylor Hall 8-0.
 
In No. 3 singles action, Wilczek took care of Jennifer Slick 6-2, 6-0, while Meridyth Sanders cruised in No. 4 singles play 6-1, 6-1. Drda took down Jordan Bailey 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles, while Birch blanked Hall 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
 
LVC is back in action on Wednesday, April 17th at Arcadia at 3:30 p.m.
