Haley Neff turned in her best outing of the season in Lebanon Valley's 5-0 shutout victory over Albright in the opening game of a MAC Commonwealth doubleheader on Thursday afternoon.
Neff threw seven scoreless innings for LVC (8-5, 2-1 MAC Commonwealth) and her offense helped her right out of the gate by scoring three runs in the top of the first.
Sammy Bost led off the game with a bunt single before stealing second and
Cheyanne Brown's bunt notched her a single one at-bat later.
Emily Johnson drove them both in with a double to right field and
Jordyn Miller followed with an RBI double of her own.
The score remained 3-0 until the top of the fifth when Bost again reached base with a bunt single before an Albright error allowed her to score when Johnson singled two at-bats later.
