Box Score

ANNVILLE, Pa.
- After starting the season with 14 straight wins, Lebanon Valley College dropped its second game in a row Saturday, falling to Albright College 75-65 at LVC Gymnasium.

The Lions (14-3, 2-0 CC) led wire-to-wire as the Dutchmen (14-2, 0-2 CC) couldn't pull close enough despite a career-high 20-point effort from Suzie Noyes and 18 from Lori Lidlow.

Andrea Hoover added 11 points and dished out 5 assists. LVC shot 37.3 percent from the floor compared to Albright's 47.3 percent; the Lions shot a red-hot 63 percent (17-of-27) in the first half to work a lead that proved insurmountable.

Jessica McGinness led Albright with 16 points, while Annie McMahon had 15 points and nine boards.

Albright led from the start, scoring the first six points of the game as LVC missed its first seven shots. The Dutchmen kept it close the entire first half, and never led Albright lead by more than eight points.

However, the Lions started the second half with some hot shooting and quickly turned their lead into double-digits, going up by as many as 14 with McMahon's jumper at 14:05. LVC used a pair of three-point plays by Noyes and Lidlow to get back into it, but simply couldn't cut the lead to less than seven points as Albright kept pace with LVC's scoring.

Both teams had plenty of chances at the line, with Albright going 22-of-31 and LVC 19-of-25. Albright's height advantage resulted in a 44-27 rebounding edge, including 15 offensive boards.

LVC will try to get its first conference win Wednesday when it hosts Widener University at 6 p.m.
