ST. DAVID'S, Pa. - The Lebanon Valley College women's tennis team closed out its fall team schedule Thursday, blanking Eastern University 9-0.
LVC finishes the fall with a 10-2 record.
The Dutchmen were penalized a game at each singles match for a late arrival, but overcame the handicap with convincing straight-set wins at every flight.
Sarah Grodzinski picked up her 10th win of the season at No. 1 singles, while Leslie Sabas and Shayna Heintzelman each earned win number 11 playing at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
Kim DeLone cruised to a win at No. 4, and Katie Freeman also won at No. 5. Morgan Brady made her collegiate singles debut at No. 6, winning 6-1, 6-1.
LVC will take part in the MASCAC Individual Tournament this Saturday and Sunday at the Hempfield Sports Complex in Landisville.
