ANNVILLE, Pa. – Sophomore Amy Cawley scored an unassisted goal in the 19th minute, and it held up as the game-winner as Franklin & Marshall defeated Lebanon Valley 1-0 at Herbert Field in non-conference field hockey action Wednesday afternoon.

Sophomore Erika Ely made four saves for Lebanon Valley (0-2) while senior Robyn Jones stopped two shots to earn the shutout for F&M (3-0).

The Diplomats out-shot LVC 19-2 and held a 5-4 edge in penalty corners.

Lebanon Valley resumes its schedule on Saturday, when it hosts Wilkes University at noon in another non-conference match.
