ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Elizabethtown built a 1-0 halftime lead, then put the match away with three second-half goals en route to a 4-0 win over Lebanon Valley in Commonwealth Conference men’s soccer action Saturday afternoon.

Brennan Reichenbach gave the Blue Jays (6-2-2, 2-0-1), ranked No. 7 in the mid-atlantic region by the NSCAA, all the scoring they would need when he found the back of the net in the 40th minute. Josh Hoffman gave E-town a 2-0 lead in the 59th minute before Matt Diller and Mike McCabe scored 35 seconds apart in the 75th minute.

Sophomore Tim Mehl started in goal for Lebanon Valley (3-7, 0-3 CC) and made five saves while allowing all four goals in 83:37 of action. Classmate Andrew Raudensky shut out E-town the rest of the way.

A.J. Fleisher played the opening 74:57 between the pipes for the Blue Jays, making thee saves to earn the win. Jeff Mullen stopped two shots over the final 15:03.

Lebanon Valley resumes its schedule on Tuesday, when it visits McDaniel College in a non-conference match at 4 p.m.
