WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College women’s tennis team dropped a 6-3 non-conference decision to Wilkes University in a match that was nearly a carbon copy of its 5-4 loss to Susquehanna on Saturday.
For the second straight match, Lebanon Valley (1-3) fell behind 3-0 after losing all three doubles contests. But the Dutchwomen rallied in singles play, winning three of six matches to make it close. Freshman Sarah Grodzinski and sophomores Kelly Moll and Charissa Nordall won at Nos. 2-4, respectively.
Lebanon Valley returns to the court on Wednesday, when it hosts Juniata College at 3:30 p.m. in a Commonwealth Conference affair.
