SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley won four of six singles matches, but it wasn't enough to overcome a 3-0 deficit after host Susquehanna swept the three doubles contests, as LVC dropped a 5-4 Commonwealth Conference decision to the Crusaders Saturday afternoon.
In singles action, Lebanon Valley (1-2, 0-2 CC) got wins from junior Leslie Sabas at No. 1, sophomore Kelly Moll at No. 3, sophomore Charissa Nordall at No. 4, and sophomore Sara Wagner at No. 6.
Susquehanna (2-3, 1-2 CC) received a pair of wins from Brittany Guerin, who was victorious at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles.
Lebanon Valley returns to action on Sunday, when it visits Wilkes University in a non-conference match starting at noon.
