READING, Pa. – Anne Curry scored the game’s only goal, finding the back of the net in the 25th minute to lift host Albright College to a 1-0 win over Lebanon Valley in a Commonwealth Conference women’s soccer match Saturday afternoon.
The match was the final contest of the season for LVC, which finishes 3-12-2 and 1-6 in the Commonwealth Conference.
Sophomore Erika Ely saved six shots for the Valley. She finished with 133 for the season, the third-highest single-season total in school history and the most since Michele Weber ’99 had 153 in 1998. Weber also made a school-record 164 saves in 1997.
Jess Schmura made five saves for Albright (8-6-3, 4-3 CC).
