COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus College defeated Lebanon Valley 2-0 in non-conference women’s soccer action Wednesday afternoon.

Megan Ascanio scored with less than four minutes to go in the opening half to give the Bears (6-5) all the scoring they would need. Sarah Gardner added an insurance goal in the 70th minute.

Lebanon Valley (1-9-2) received a five-save effort from sophomore goalie Erika Ely (Reading, Pa./Antietam).

LVC hosts Juniata on Saturday in a Commonwealth Conference match starting at noon.
