READING, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College women's tennis team continued its best start in school history on Tuesday, defeating Albright 8-1 in a Commonwealth Conference match.
Lebanon Valley (6-1, 3-1 CC) is now off to its best seven-match start in school history since the program's inception in 1994. The 2003 team started 5-2 in the previous best start.
LVC took a 2-1 lead after taking two of three doubles matches from Albright (2-6, 0-4 CC), then swept all six singles contest en route to the victory.
Lebanon Valley returns to action on Thursday, when it visits DeSales University in a non-conference match starting at 4 p.m.
