GRANTHAM, Pa. – Sophomore Alyssa Stine scored her third goal of the season, but 12th-ranked Lebanon Valley dropped a 4-1 decision to fourth-ranked Messiah in a Commonwealth Conference field hockey game Saturday afternoon.
Stine gave LVC (7-2, 1-1 CC) a 1-0 lead early in the game, but the Falcons rallied with four unanswered goals. Messiah (6-1, 2-0 CC) carried a 2-1 lead into halftime intermission before adding a pair of insurance goals in the second half.
Lebanon Valley returns to action on Wednesday, when it hosts Dickinson at 4 p.m. in a non-conference affair.
