READING Pa. – Sophomore Natalie Goodfellow drilled a team-high 16 kills and Lebanon Valley swept host Albright College 3-0 (30-22, 30-17, 30-17) in a Commonwealth Conference volleyball match Wednesday evening.
Lebanon Valley (11-2, 2-0 CC) has now won eight of its last nine matches. Albright (8-9, 0-2 CC) lost for the first time in its last six outings.
Freshman Margaret Prebula and senior Lexi Horstman added 13 kills apiece for LVC. Prebula did not commit an error and hit 59% for the evening.
Junior Steph Bedgar and freshman Brandi Roth also had solid nights hitting. Bedgar had eight kills and only two errors for a 40.0% hitting performance while Roth had seven kills and no errors on 12 attempts, hitting 58%.
Senior Cat Roth handed out 54 assists to go with 12 digs.
Defensively, senior Katie Ferree led the way with 23 digs while freshman Erin Yost had 13 digs and a pair of aces.
Lebanon Valley returns to action on Friday, when it hosts Alvernia College at 7 p.m. in a non-conference match.
