ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College women’s tennis team lost its first match of the 2005-06 season, falling 7-2 to Susquehanna on Saturday afternoon in a Commonwealth Conference outing at the LVC Tennis Courts.
Susquehanna (3-3, 1-2 CC) won two doubles matches to go ahead 2-1, then captured five of six singles sets.
Freshman Charissa Nordall and senior Angie Petiak earned the lone doubles win for Lebanon Valley (4-1, 1-1 CC), prevailing 8-4 at No. 3
Freshman Kelly Moll gave LVC its only singles win with a 7-5, 6-3 victory at No. 2.
Lebanon Valley will look to rebound on Monday, when it hosts Dickinson at 4 p.m. in a non-conference match.
