ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College volleyball team split its final two matches at its own Dutchman Tournament on Saturday, defeating Ursinus College 3-1 (30-23, 30-20, 24-30, 30-11) before falling to 25th-ranked Eastern University 3-1 (30-27, 30-22, 16-30, 30-20) Saturday afternoon at the LVC Gymnasium.
Due to a lengthy power outage delay on Friday, several of Friday's matches were rescheduled for Saturday. Time restraints caused Saturday's championship round to be cancelled, thus a team champion was not crowned.

Senior Lexi Horstman, who reached 1,000 career kills against Ursinus, also had an outstanding tournament, averaging an identical 3.82 kills per game while hitting an extraordinary .411.

Horstman had 12 kills and just four errors on 23 attempts while joining Amanda Bahn '05 (1,292) and Natalile Baruka '97 (1,285) on LVC's 1,000-kill club.
