GRANTHAM, Pa. – Junior Natalie Goodfellow threw down a team-high 15 kills and Lebanon Valley swept host Messiah College in the Commonwealth Conference opener for both teams Tuesday evening.

Lebanon Valley (8-1, 1-0 CC) won 30-13, 30-18, 30-16.

Senior Lexi Horstman posted 11 kills for LVC and is now 17 shy of 1,000 for her career. Freshman Margaret Prebula added 10 kills.

Defensively, senior Katie Ferree had 18 digs while freshmen Erin Yost and Brandi Roth had 12 and nine digs, respectively.

Lebanon Valley returns to the court on Friday and Saturday, when it hosts the Dutchman Invitational. On Friday, LVC takes on Keuka College at 3 p.m. and Ursinus College at 7 p.m.
