Box Score

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Junior Keri Foster scored three goals over a 14:20 span late in the game, and the Lebanon Valley College women’s soccer team won its first Commonwealth Conference match of the season, defeating host Juniata College 3-0 Saturday afternoon.

Foster, who had not scored a goal all season coming into the game, converted a penalty kick in the 73rd minute, and it would be all the scoring Lebanon Valley (2-8-2, 3-4 CC) would need. Foster added a pair of unassisted tallies 15 minutes apart as she posted her second collegiate hat trick. She also scored three goals in Lebanon Valley’s 4-1 win over Widener last season.

Senior Jess Conrad needed to make only one save to pick up her second win and third shutout of the season. With the victory, she tied Suzanne Becker ’01 for Lebanon Valley’s career goalie wins record of 24.

Kerri Lawrence also had one save for Juniata (5-9-1, 0-4 CC).

Lebanon Valley returns to action on Monday, when it visits Penn State-Altoona at 4 p.m. in a non-conference match.
