CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Sophomore Shauna Enck scored three goals for her second hat trick of the season, leading the 14th-ranked Lebanon Valley College field hockey team to a 4-0 victory over DeSales University Saturday afternoon.

Lebanon Valley improved to 9-2 while DeSales fell to 8-4.

Enck scored the team’s first three goals while upping her season total to 13. She also scored three goals in the team’s season-opening win over Gwynedd-Mercy. Enck needed just 4:38 to record her first goal when she redirected a shot from sophomore Mimi Sullivan. Then midway through the opening half, she took a pass from junior Steph Marguglio and deposited a shot into the back of the cage. She completed the trifecta by accepting a touch pass from sophomore Alyssa Stine and firing a shot past the goalie with 7:42 to go in the half.

Marguglio completed LVC’s scoring less than two minutes later, converting an unassisted tally for her 11th goal of the season.

Junior Katie Pawlewicz had three saves en route to her second straight shutout and her fifth of the season. Amy Zoltek had eight saves for DeSales.
