Senior Jeff Greiger (Riegelsville, Pa./Wilson) drove in a run with a single before two runs scored on a fielder’s choice from junior Craig Denlinger (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield).
The Pioneers padded their lead with three insurance runs in the eighth, but LVC refused to go away. Rich drove in a run with a one-out double in the ninth, but Campbell retired the Valley’s final two batters of the game.
Lebanon Valley returns to the diamond on Wednesday, when the Dutchmen host Delaware Valley College in a MAC non-conference game.
