READING, Pa. – Lebanon Valley received four goals from four different players, and the 14th-ranked Flying Dutchmen shut out Albright 4-0 Tuesday afternoon in the Commonwealth Conference finale for both teams.

With the win, LVC (13-6) ended the regular season 5-2 in Commonwealth Conference play and will finish third in the conference standings. Albright (4-13) closed out its Commonwealth schedule at 0-7.

Lebanon Valley took a 1-0 lead into halftime after sophomore Claire Behney (Myerstown, Pa./ELCO) drilled in her fifth goal of the season in the 24th minute.

The Valley added three insurance goals in the second half. In the 39th minute, sophomore Steph Marguglio (Bridgeton, N.J./Bridgeton) scored her 20th goal of the season to put LVC on top 2-0. Senior Lindsey McCormick (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita) made it a three-goal game in the 54th minute with her fourth goal of the season, and freshman Christine Schairer (Estell Manor, N.J./Buena Regional) provided the finishing touches in the 67th minute with her first collegiate goal. Classmate Jami Gobao (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna) added the assist, the first of her collegiate career.

Sophomore Katie Pawlewicz (Reading, Pa./Holy Name) turned aside all three Albright shots to pick up the shutout in goal for Lebanon Valley.

LVC tied a season-high with 27 shots, while Albright attempted only 10.

Lebanon Valley will play its regular season finale on Saturday, when it hosts Drew University at 1 p.m. in a non-conference game. The Dutchmen will visit Juniata College in the Commonwealth Conference semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 3.
