ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Sophomore Mallary Anderson (Columbia, Pa./Donegal) picked an opportune time to score her first goal of the season on Wednesday afternoon at Elizabethtown College.
Anderson took a feed from freshman Mimi Sullivan (Elverson, Pa./Twin Valley) in the 65th minute and drilled in the game's only goal as No. 13 Lebanon Valley defeated the Blue Jays 1-0 in a Commonwealth Conference tilt.
LVC has now won eight of its last nine games.
Sophomore Katie Pawlewicz (Reading, Pa./Holy Name) saved all six E-town shots to come away with the shutout, her fourth in a row. Pawlewicz has not allowed a goal since LVC's 4-1 win over Widener on Sept. 23.
Both team attempted six shots. Lebanon Valley held a 9-6 advantage in penalty corners.
Kristen Callaghan stopped five shots for the Blue Jays.
