LANCASTER, Pa. – Freshman John Mentzer (Myerstown, Pa./ELCO) tied a season-high with nine saves, but host Franklin & Marshall slipped by Lebanon Valley 1-0 in non-conference men’s soccer action Wednesday afternoon.

With the loss, LVC’s third in a row, the Flying Dutchmen fell to 7-4-1. The Diplomats improved to 6-3-1.

F&M’s Chris Campbell scored the game’s only goal in the 70th minute off an assist from Brandon Corday.

The Dips out-shot LVC 15-9 and had a 9-5 edge in corner kicks.

Lebanon Valley picks up its schedule on Saturday, when it visits Susquehanna University in a Commonwealth Conference match starting at noon.
