CHESTER, Pa. – Competing in their final dual meet of the season, the Lebanon Valley College swimming teams were swept by Widener University in a Commonwealth Conference meet Friday evening.
Lebanon Valley’s men’s team lost by a count of 102-58 while the women’s team dropped a 112-79 decision.
The men’s squad finished with a record of 4-6 and 1-3 in the Commonwealth while the women’s team went 3-8 and 0-5 in conference competition.
Sophomore Jenn Kush (Allentown, Pa./Emmaus) was Lebanon Valley’s only winner on either side, as she came out victorious in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:06.51.
Lebanon Valley will take 12 days off before returning to action on Feb. 13-15 at the Middle Atlantic Conference championships.
