WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Sophomore Kat Lamplugh (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland) scored the team’s only goal while classmate Jess Conrad (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) saved eight shots and the Lebanon Valley College women’s soccer team tied Wilkes University 1-1 Saturday afternoon in MAC non-conference action at Ralston Field.

Wilkes took a 1-0 lead into halftime intermission after scoring the game’s opening goal in the 23rd minute. Lamplugh’s goal, her second of the season, occurred in the 67th minute.

Wilkes (0-1-1) out-shot Lebanon Valley (2-0-1) 14-10.

Colonel goalie Kate Green turned away 10 LVC shots for Wilkes.

Lebanon Valley opens its Commonwealth Conference schedule on Saturday when it visits Juniata College at 1 p.m.
