CHESTER, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College men’s soccer team dropped a 6-0 decision at Widener University in a Commonwealth Conference match on Saturday afternoon.

The Pioneers (8-2-0, 2-0-0 CC) scored three goals in each half to hand LVC (3-7-0, 0-3-0 CC) its sixth loss in its last seven matches. The Flying Dutchmen suffered their fifth shutout in their last six outings.

Senior Christian Koch (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) saved nine shots for the Valley while his counterpart, Jason Delozier, picked up 11 saves to earn the shutout.

Widener out-shot LVC 20-11.

The Dutchmen return to action on Friday when they hosts Moravian College at 4 p.m. in another Commonwealth match.
