Women’s Tennis Falls to E-town, 7-2

ANNVILLE, Pa.  – Lebanon Valley won two of three doubles matches, but Elizabethtown came back to win all six singles sets and the Blue Jays recorded a 7-2 Commonwealth Conference victory over LVC Saturday afternoon at the LVC Tennis Courts.

E-town improved to 4-2 and 2-1 in the Commonwealth while the Flying Dutchmen fell to 4-2 and 2-2.

Senior Amora Cook (Schaefferstown, Pa./ELCO) and sophomore Sophia Kwon (Enola, Pa./Cumberland Valley) captured an 8-4 win at first doubles while senior Kelly Stauffer (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) and junior Chris Jessen (Newfield, N.J./Woodstown) won 8-4 at No. 2 doubles in the Valley’s lone victories of the afternoon.

Lebanon Valley returns to the courts on Monday when the team travels to Dickinson College for a 4 p.m. non-conference match.
