Women’s Soccer Falls to Messiah in Conference Championship, 4-0

GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College women’s soccer team lost 4-0 to No. 12 Messiah College in the Commonwealth Championship game on Saturday evening.

The loss dropped second-seeded Lebanon Valley to 11-3-4 while top-seeded Messiah improved to 16-1-3

With the win, Messiah advances to the NCAA Championships. Lebanon Valley will now hope for an ECAC bid. ECAC championship pairings will be announced on Monday.

.The loss was only the second in LVC’s last seven games.

Messiah led 1-0 at halftime before reeling off three goals in the second half.

Sophomore Jess Conrad (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) allowed three goals before leaving the game with an injury. She suffered just her third loss of the season.
