ANNVILLE, Pa. – Susquehanna University picked up a pair of wins on Saturday in a Commonwealth Conference swimming meet at the LVC Swimming Pool.
The Crusaders won 105-96 on the men’s side while Susquehanna’s women’s squad won 110-90.
Lebanon Valley’s men’s team is now 1-3 while the women’s squad is 0-5.
Sophomore Isaac Greene (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) won both the 800-free and 100-breast while placing second in the 400-free to lead LVC’s men’s team. Senior Taylor Reinhard (Halifax, Pa./Halifax) placed second in the 800-free and qualified for the MAC Championships. In addition, freshman Tim Fry (Etters, Pa./Red Lion) finished second in the 50-free while senior Adam Demchak (Annville, Pa./Annville-Cleona) was third in the same event.
For the women’s team, junior Shanalyn Sweigart (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) led the way with a victory in the 50-free. Freshman Danielle Kern (Warminster, Pa./William Tennnent) finished second in the 800-free while sophomore Sam Meglino (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley) was second in the 100-fly.
Both teams return to the pool on Tuesday when they visit Elizabethtown College in a Commonwealth Conference meet at 6 p.m.
