READING, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College men’s soccer team concluded its 2003 season on Saturday afternoon, as the team dropped a 4-2 decision to Albright College in a Commonwealth Conference match.

The Flying Dutchmen finished the season 5-13-0 and 1-6-0 in the Commonwealth. Albright moved its record to 7-11-1 and 2-5-0 in conference play.

Albright was led by Nick Loris, who notched the hat trick with three goals.

LVC trailed 2-0 when junior Steve Gyomber (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing) put LVC on the scoreboard in the 34th minute with his first goal of the season.

The Lions pushed their advantage to 4-1 with two more goals in the second half. The Dutchmen received their final tally from junior Fran Pitonyak (Langhorne, Pa./Holy Ghost) in the 75th minute with his second goal of the year.

Seniors Taylor Reinhard (Halifax, Pa./Hallifax) and Christian Koch (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) split the time in goal for LVC. Reinhard played the first half and was handed the loss. He concluded the season with a 1-3-0 record. Koch played the final 45 minutes between the pipes.
