CHESTER, Pa. – Junior Amanda Bahn (York, Pa./Spring Grove) and sophomore Lexi Horstman (Hummelstown, Pa./Upper Dauphin) recorded 18 kills apiece, leading the Lebanon Valley College volleyball team to a 3-1 (30-26, 30-17, 28-30, 30-26) win over Widener University in a Commonwealth Conference match Tuesday evening.
Lebanon Valley (15-7, 3-1 CC) won for the fourth time in a row and for the sixth time in its last seven matches. Widener dropped to 5-18 and 1-2 in the Commonwealth.
Bahn also tallied 10 digs and three blocks while Horstman posted 14 digs and five aces.
Sophomore Cat Roth (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) dished out 47 assists while classmate Katie Ferree (Waynesboro, Pa./Waynesboro) registered 21 digs. Senior Angie McCracken (York Springs, Pa./Woodsboro (Md.)) contributed four blocks.
The Flying Dutchmen pick up their schedule next Tuesday when they host Moravian College at 7 p.m. in another Commonwealth contest.
