Volleyball Drops Commonwealth Match to Messiah

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley lost its first Commonwealth Conference match of the season after dropping a 3-0 decision to Messiah College Tuesday evening in Lynch Gymnasium.

LVC fell to 15-8 and 2-1 in the Commonwealth while Messiah improved to 16-5 and 2-1 in conference play.

Lebanon Valley was led by first-year student Megan Brillhart (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford), who posted a team-high 14 kills to go with two blocks and two aces. Sophomore Amanda Bahn (York, Pa./Spring Grove) recorded seven kills and two blocks while first-year student Catherine Roth (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) added 33 assists and 12 digs. Katie Ferree (Waynesboro, Pa./Waynesboro) contributed 10 digs.

The Flying Dutchmen return to action on Saturday at 10 a.m. when the team hosts York College during Homecoming Weekend.
