Riley Hevelow earned MAC Freedom Women's Basketball Player of the Week after she scored 34 points, pulled down seven rebounds, dished out six assists, and recorded five steals to power the Dutchmen to two wins over the Wilkes-Barre area schools to begin conference play and extend LVC's win streak to 10 games. She played 79 of a possible 80 minutes during the week and shot 40.6% from the field and 70.0% at the line. The senior began the week with 21 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals in a 73-66 victory at King's. She scored 11 points in the final five minutes and LVC's final eight points of the game as the Dutchmen held off a second-half rally by the Monarchs. The guard finished the week with a game-high 13 points and three steals in a 62-43 victory over Misericordia. Hevelow played all 40 minutes against the Cougars and had 10 points by halftime to power the Dutchmen to a 38-26 lead.
