Emily Hopkins was named to the All-Tournament team at the Flying Dutchmen Tournament as LVC went 4-0 to capture the championship for the second year in a row. In the process, LVC set a school record for wins to open a season with 10. Hopkins finished the tournament with 45 kills over the four matches. She averaged 3.46 kills/set. Her best matches were the two with PSU-Altoona. In Friday pool play, she swung home 11 kills. On Saturday, in the final, she finished with 21 kills to just 3 errors on 49 attempts. Over the course of the weekend, she attacked 116 times and committed only 10 errors.
