Junior Grant Wiest, the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week, keyed a series win for LVC against Arcadia, going 8-for-13 with 4 walks and 8 RBI in the three-game set. In LVC's wild 12-inning 11-10 win on Friday that clinched a playoff berth, Wiest scored three runs and drove in three more, including a home run and a clutch two-run single in the bottom of the 12th to tie the game at 10. On Saturday, Wiest erupted for five RBI in game two of a doubleheader as LVC won 16-14. For the week, he hit .462 and slugged .846.
