Senior catcher Bert Malloy, the Commonwealth Conference Baseball Player of the Week, turned in a six-RBI day, including five RBI in the first game, to help LVC (16-14-1, 7-2 CC) sweep a weekend doubleheader at Albright. In the weekend series, Malloy went 5-for-12 with six RBI, two runs, a double and a home run; at catcher, he also threw out two basestealers. In LVC's 7-4 extra-innings win in game one of the twinbill, Malloy pounded five runs in, including a three-run home run and a two-run single in the eighth to cement the win.
