Joe Soupik, the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week, hit two home runs, slugged 1.500, and had an OBP of .692 in three games against Widener this weekend. On Saturday, he hit a solo homer and drove in three other runs in the first game of a doubleheader. He then hit a three-run homer on Sunday to help put LVC back into the game after being down 5-1. All four of his hits in the series were for extra bases; two were doubles and the other two home runs.
