Meghan Donoghue and classmate
Laura Snyder have been named to the ECAC South All-Stars as announced by the organization. Donoghue earned first team accolades, while Snyder was a member of the second team. Also honored was head coach
Stacey Hollinger, who was named Coach of the Year.
Donoghue was named to the First Team Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III All-East Team and First Team All-Commonwealth Conference earlier this month. A starter in 44 games this season, she recorded a team-best .391 batting average. She also led the team in numerous statistical categories including runs (38), hits (52), doubles (15), RBI (29), slugging percentage (.707), on-base percentage (.442) and stolen bases (6). Donoghue set a new single season record for total bases with 94 and home runs with seven.
Snyder also earned Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III All-East honors and was First Team All-Commonwealth. Snyder finished the season with a 15-5 record. In 28 appearances, she posted a team-best 1.38 ERA and set a new single season record for shutouts with 11. She also tallied a team-best and personal-best three saves in 2010. Through 142.0 innings of work, Snyder struck out 192 batters, setting a new personal record as well as a new single season record for LVC.
Hollinger garnered Commonwealth Coach of the Year honors for the fourth time in her career. She led LVC to the CC's regular season title and an overall record of 34-13, the most wins in program history and best winning percentage all-time. She holds a career record of 249-190 at LVC, making her the programs' all-time winningest coach.
